Forever fascinated by the intriguing world of ‘Pop Music,’ at 3 years of age, Carla Waye had the likes of Madonna, Michael Jackson and the Beatles constantly on repeat which soon led to her putting pen to paper with endeavours to create her own addictive melodies.

At just 14 years of age, Carla traded high school for home school, which provided her an opportunity to further a career as part of a pop group. The trio spent their teenage years performing at shopping centres, NBL Basketball games, A-Leauge soccer matches and events across Australia which included opening for Guy Sebastian.

Carla now stands as a seasoned performer and as a Solo Artist, she has performed at high profile events such as the The Tour Down Under, The Adelaide Food & Wine Festival, The Adelaide Fashion Festival and has opened for artists such as Australian 90’s Pop Duo, Bachelor Girl and International superstar, Flo Rida.

Amongst this, she is a graduate of Sound Engineering School and is fast becoming a recognized Songwriter having written for numerous other artists.

She has most recently worked with renowned Producers such as Darryl Anthony from 90’s boy band ‘Az-Yet’ and Israel who has produced for the likes of Australian Idol’s Jessica Mauboy, Stan Walker and Ricki-Lee as well as US sensation Jay Sean. 

In May 2010, Carla Waye headlined her very own concert in the Philippines, resulting in a sell out show, televised several times on the town's local channel. Carla will return to the Philippines in 2012 to debut her new album. Tour dates will be announced in the near future. 

Carla Waye is currently finishing her debut solo album and her single ‘Spaceship Love’ will be released on i-tunes in late 2011.  

And so she continues her journey, completely consumed by her love of Music....
